Dr. Bogdan-Ionuț Biță is an accomplished physicist, educator, and researcher with a strong interdisciplinary background in optoelectronics, nanotechnology, plasma physics, and materials science. He also holds a lecturer position at the University of Bucharest's Faculty of Physics, where he teaches courses in Virtual Instrumentation, Computer Physics, Analog and Digital Electronics, and Circuits. Dr. Biță has vast research experience in nanostructure characterization, photolithography, and low-temperature plasma technologies. His academic trajectory includes a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics focused on optoelectronic devices based on organic and inorganic thin films, as well as postdoctoral work investigating plasma-assisted nanostructure fabrication and applications. Dr. Biță’s research spans photovoltaic devices, smart drug delivery systems, biosensors, and antimicrobial coatings. His work is widely recognized, having received numerous awards for outstanding research presentations and innovation, including gold medals at prominent international invention exhibitions. He is author of over 50 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals. He is fluent in English and proficient in French, and an expert in technical software tools such as LabVIEW, Origin, and Microsoft Office. With a strong commitment to scientific innovation and academic excellence, Dr. Biță combines rigorous research with practical applications in emerging technologies.

Ana-Maria Florea (Răduță) is a Ph.D. student at the Doctoral School of Physics of the University of Bucharest (2018-present) with the Thesis entitled "Contributions to the study of A2-B6 thin films for applications in electronic and optoelectronic devices”, under the supervision of Professor Emeritus Dr. Ștefan ANTOHE. Her expertise is related to organic and inorganic thin films, photovoltaic structures and solar cells, nanomaterials and nanostructures, nanotechnologies, electronic and optoelectronic devices, optical characterization (optical spectroscopy: UV-Vis, FTIR), morphological investigations (atomic force microscopy – AFM, scanning electron microscopy - SEM), structural analysis (X-ray diffraction), electrical measurements (current – voltage characteristics), and photo-electrical measurements (external quantum efficiency, fourth quadrant analysis, specific parameters of optoelectronic devices). He has a background in applied sciences and engineering and is actively involved in prototyping and building custom electronic devices ranging from electrochemical sensor networks to optical systems for food quality analysis. His work spans across embedded systems, software development, and integration of smart technologies, reflecting a commitment to practical and impactful innovation.
